Ningxia Jiaote Carbon Black Co., Ltd., formerly Ningxia Jiatong Carbon Black Co., Ltd., was established in Dec. 2003. Current production capacity is 5,000 tons/yr. of dry method hard carbon black and 20,000 tons/yr. of wet method soft carbon black, which are mainly sold to Shandong, Guangdong and Fujian etc.

In order to expand the scale and the competitive power of the company, we decided to build a production line of wet method soft carbon black (20,000 tons/yr.). The production line adopted the domestic most advanced high-temperature reaction furnace and wet-method granulation technologies, and used the DCS system to control the production. This line, with the production capacity of 6 product series with more than 10 varieties, absorbed total investment of 60 million RMB yuan. The construction was started in July 2005, and the line was formally put into production on 26th August, 2006. The estimated annual industrial output value is about 180 million RMB yuan, and profit payments and tax turnover around 40 million RMB yuan.

The tail gas of our first-phase project, namely the 20,000 tons/yr. wet method soft carbon black production line, is mainly used for granulating, drying and dehydrating of tar to form a circulatory economic mode as follows:

The second-phase project, namely the 20,000 tons/yr. wet method hard carbon black production line, 3,000KW electric power generation by tail gas and 10,000 tons/yr. high grade coaly active carbon are planned to start construction in 2007 to form a circulatory economic mode as follows:

The concentration of CO (carbon monoxide) of tail gas in the above mode is nearly zero, which is in complete compliance with related national standards.
